The DS5010 is designed to complement the Universal OEM and Advant series sliding door lock ranges, offering an improved, more reliable keeper for new installations and direct replacements alike.

Universal Fixing — Cross-Fixed or In-Line

The DS5010’s strong linear edges and modular design give it a genuinely universal fixing option: it installs either cross-fixed or in-line from the same body. For the in-line fixing method, cover tabs are integrated into the moulding and pop out cleanly, without needing a separate cover part. For installers, this means one keeper covers two installation scenarios — less stock to carry, and less chance of specifying the wrong part on site.

Built for Strength

The DS5010 uses a strengthened chassis design tested to exceed 3000N in an Ultimate Force Test — the reason the keeper’s fitted adjustment holds its position reliably over time rather than shifting under repeated door use. Built-in “press outs” on the cover also hide the rear fixing holes when the keeper is cross fixed, keeping the finished installation clean.

Fine Adjustment Range

Once fitted, the DS5010 offers up to 9mm of vertical and 5mm of horizontal adjustment, so installers can align the keeper precisely with the door lock without needing to re-drill or reposition the base. For finer fitment beyond the standard range, 2mm and 5mm packers are available separately.

DS5010 vs. DS5011 — Choosing the Right Keeper

Both keepers share the same strengthened chassis and adjustment mechanism:

• DS5010 (this product) — universal fixing, installs cross-fixed or in-line from the same body.
• DS5011 — in-line fixed only, with a curved-back design for a more integrated architectural finish.

Custom Branding for Bulk Orders

For customers with their own marketing or brand application, custom lens badges can be applied over the embossed Doric logo on bulk orders — letting fabricators and OEM customers tailor the hardware to their own brand without a change to the underlying chassis.

What’s the difference between cross-fixed and in-line fixing? 

Cross-fixed fixing secures the keeper base through holes positioned across the frame; in-line fixing secures it through holes in line with the door lock. The DS5010 supports both from the same body, using integrated pop-out cover tabs for the in-line method.

What is the adjustment range on the DS5010? 

Up to 9mm vertically and 5mm horizontally, letting installers fine-tune alignment with the door lock after the base is fixed. 2mm and 5mm packers are available separately for additional adjustment beyond this range.

How strong is the DS5010 keeper chassis?
