The chassis is available in either Polesium™ or Metacom™ material. Polesium™ is Doric’s proprietary high-performance polymer — engineered for dimensional stability, UV resistance, and long-term finish retention in demanding Australian conditions. In salt-air coastal environments and tropical climates where inferior hardware degrades within 12–18 months, Polesium™ maintains structural and aesthetic integrity for the life of the installation. Metacom™ is available where additional corrosion performance is specified.

Each code represents a different cylinder configuration. The DS930A is the full double lock set with both internal and external cylinders. The DS931A is a latch set with no cylinders, DS932A has an external cylinder only, DS935A has an internal cylinder only, and DS938A is a dummy set. Yes. The Polesium™ handle and chassis material is engineered to resist corrosion in salt-air coastal environments and tropical climates — conditions where standard hardware finishes fail prematurely.
