DS2130 Bisarra | Sliding Patio Door Lock
$139.73 inc. GST
The DS2130 Bisarra is Doric’s contemporary handle for the Biio™ dual-hook, surface-mounted sliding door lockbody — a non-handed design that suits left- or right-sliding configurations without needing to specify handing at order time, finished in a bold, angled style that sits cleanly against modern décor.
Security comes from two opposing 316 stainless steel hook tongues engaging a 6-point keeper fixing, backed by an anti-crash feature that protects the tongues and keeper from impact damage. For coastal and marine projects, a T3 anti-corrosion finish tested to 1000 hours of salt spray is available, and the no-inside-cylinder configuration conforms to BCA egress lever requirements — making the Bisarra a specification that holds up equally well on a security brief and a compliance checklist.
Complete Your Sliding Door Hardware
The DS2130 is commonly specified alongside other sliding door hardware on the same project:
- DS297 Sliding Door Stopper — protects the frame from slam damage
- DS5010 Sliding Door Keeper — strike/keeper for Advant and Universal OEM lock ranges
- DS391 & DS392 External Sliding Door Pull Handle — external pull handle, pairs with a keyed DS392 configuration
Product Description
Application & Project Fit
The DS2130 pairs a sleek, contemporary handle with the Biio™ chassis — a non-handed lockbody that suits either sliding direction from a single specification, simplifying ordering across a project with mixed door configurations.
Security — Dual Opposing Hook Tongues
The Bisarra’s security comes from two 316 stainless steel hook tongues, engaging opposite directions into a 6-point keeper fixing — a configuration that provides meaningfully more resistance to forced entry than a single-hook or latch-only sliding door lock. An anti-crash feature protects both the hook tongues and the keeper from impact damage during normal door operation, so the security mechanism doesn’t degrade with daily use.
Choosing Your Configuration
The Bisarra range covers five configurations, differing only in which sides of the door need keyed access:
- DS2130 — Double lock set, with interior and exterior cylinders. Specify where both sides of the door need keyed access.
- DS2131 — Latch set, no cylinders. Specify where the door needs the Biio chassis and handle but no keyed locking.
- DS2132 — Lock set, exterior cylinder only. Specify where only external key access is required — this configuration also conforms to BCA egress requirements (see below).
- DS2135 — Lock set, interior cylinder only. Specify where only internal key access is required.
- DS2138 — Dummy set, no cylinders. Specify for a fixed panel or a non-functioning matching handle.
Compliance — BCA Egress Requirements
The DS2132 configuration — exterior cylinder only, no inside cylinder — conforms to BCA egress lever requirements under Section D2.21 (Operation of Latch). For projects where an internal cylinder would create an egress compliance issue, this is the configuration to specify.
Material & Finish — Specifying for Coastal Environments
The Bisarra handle is manufactured from Metacom™ and powder coated for a high-quality, long-lasting finish. For coastal, marine, and high-humidity projects, a T3 anti-corrosion finish tested to 1000 hours of salt spray is available — the correct specification wherever salt air and moisture would otherwise accelerate hardware degradation over standard powder coat.
Cylinder & Keying — Doric One Key™ Compatibility
The Bisarra accepts both Doric wafer cylinders and C4 5-pin cylinders, and forms part of the Doric One Key™ solution — meaning it can be keyed alike to other Doric window and door locks across the same property. For multi-opening projects, this means one key can operate the patio door lock alongside compatible window hardware, rather than a separate key for every opening.
Adjustment & Fitment
The Bisarra utilises industry-standard 82mm machining details for straightforward fitment against existing door preparation. The striker system adjusts up to 5mm horizontally and 8mm vertically, and the lock includes ‘Locked’/’Unlocked’ visual indicators plus a glow-in-the-dark unlocked indicator for quick identification of lock status at night.

Frequently Asked Question
What’s the difference between the DS2130, DS2131, DS2132, DS2135 and DS2138?
They’re the same Biio chassis and handle in five keying configurations: DS2130 has cylinders on both sides; DS2131 has no cylinders; DS2132 has an exterior cylinder only; DS2135 has an interior cylinder only; DS2138 is a dummy set with no cylinders, for fixed or matching panels.
Is the DS2130 BCA compliant for egress requirements?
The DS2132 configuration — exterior cylinder only, no inside cylinder — conforms to BCA egress lever requirements under Section D2.21 (Operation of Latch).
Can the DS2130 be keyed alike to other Doric locks?
Yes. The Bisarra range forms part of the Doric One Key™ solution and can be keyed alike to other Doric window and door locks.
Is the DS2130 suitable for coastal or marine environments?
Yes, with the T3 anti-corrosion finish specified — tested to 1000 hours of salt spray, it’s the correct choice for coastal, marine, or high-humidity projects.
What colour options are available?
Satin Black, Silver, and Pearl White as standard, with custom Doric powder coat colours available on request.
What is the adjustment range on the striker?
5mm horizontal and 8mm vertical.
What does ‘non-handed’ mean for this lock?
The Biio chassis suits either a left-sliding or right-sliding door from the same specification, so handing doesn’t need to be specified separately at order time.
Which keeper does the DS2130 use?
The DS2006 as standard, with the DS2006W available as an optional alternative.
