Performance & Testing
Fall Prevention
Ventus Louvres exceed the fall prevention requirements as stated by the BCA with restrictor cams applied. They have been tested and exceed the required 250N.
Testing proves that a 125mm sphere will not pass through the Louvre when a horizontal outward force of 250N is applied.
Blade Retention
Ventus louvres have been tested to exceed requirements as stated by the BCA in Blade Retention.
The Ventus Louvre Clip design achieves higher levels of blade retention when tested. Testing proved that with sustained loads being applied to the blades in accordance with the ICP005, the glass is safely retained in the clips without the need for further mechanical locking.
The Ventus Gallery is the perfect choice of window for openings in high applications, multi-story, patio and balcony enclosures or winter gardens.
